TP19: The Colorful Silk Bazaar of Bursa

|

The Silk Bazaar or Koza Han is not really the usual bazaar that you might imagine; it is a shopping arcade selling mainly winter clothing, locally made souvenirs, T-shirts, Turkish made shirts, bedspread, bed sheet, towels, etc. Ironically, 90% of the said items are not from silk material. All those items were creatively displayed in this unique and colorful mall. The staffs were very friendly and pleasant. We spent about 30 minutes here and bought few winter clothing accessories. ‘Afi wanted to buy one of the Turkish shirts, but the design and cutting did not fit him.
One of the friendly and beautiful Silk Bazaar staff, kindly agreed posing with Afiqah for our remembrance. Unfortunately, I could not recall the name of this excellent English speaking charming Russian.
While waiting for Nana outside the arcade, suddenly a charming healthy granny was so excited and attracted to Ayman and Afiqah. She was so obsessed that she asked her daughter who is at her late 40s seeking my permission to take photo with them.
Next to the Silk Bazaar is the Turkish delight corner selling mainly varieties of the Turkish delights goodies, Turkish tea, and some other Turkish sweetie things. What I like most about this shop other than the cleanliness, was the design and the awesome layout of its interior. I bought a box the famous Tuskish Apple tea for souvenir.
