This was the last place that we visited in Syria – al Karia restaurant, which I could not recall the name, adjacent to the biggest restaurant in the world - te Damascus Gate, next to Syria Ski-Land, about a kilometer from the Fun Land Damascus and around 18 km from the Dimashq city center. We arrived there around 14:15 hours. A gorgeous well-groomed Syrian waiter ushered us to a boat-like area. We left everything to Amir.
The dining area was surrounded with various types of Syrian Spring flowers that colored us our day. In between of the flowers garden, within the dining area, there is a man-made river equips with an artificial Noriah or water wheel that gave us a fabulous freshness, feeling and ambience.The food was great, the service was remarkably commendable and the price was very reasonable for this type 4 star restaurant in Syria.
