PETRONAS at the ‘back’ of the Minister His Excellency Engineer Sameh Fahmy’s “mind.Stand proud with that little green logo of Malaysian O&G Multinational, Petroliam Nasional – PETRONAS. The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum (MOP) and the Malaysian proud oil & gas mulitinational, PETRONAS once again this year present 19 scholarships to selected Egyptians students pursuing their studies at University Technology of PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
The MOP sponsors 10 of the students and PETRONAS sponsors the other 9. Most of them will major in Engineering fields and Information Communication Technology. During this auspicious event, jointly organised by the MOP and PETRONAS, H.E. Sameh Fahmy the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Mr. Izzudin Husaini Mohamed Yusoff, the Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS in Arab Republic of Egypt, presented the scholarships to all the brilliant & lucky young energetic Egyptians.
The MOP, EGPC, the Malaysian Embassy’s staff, the family members of the succesful students, the Presses, and PETRONAS (Egypt) staff attended the scholarship award ceremony at El Shahzad, Intercontinental, Nasr City, Cairo.
This is the fifth time PETRONAS awarded scholarships to Egyptian students and these scholaships are part of PETRONAS’ involvement in community development efforts in Egypt where it conducts its business. Congratulations to the 19 students and all the best.
