Our flight back to Cairo was at 12:30 hours. At around 10:30 hours, amid the freezy rainy weather, we made our move to the Istanbul Atartuk International Airport. The terminal was very busy accommodating thousands passengers of different nationalities, a reflection of the hospitable Turkey - a great host. However, with their customer friendly facilities, signage and staff, the check-in process and other aviation administrative matters were smoothly processed.
After almost two weeks, backpacking through the romantic nostalgic Istanbul; the mountainous chilly greenly Bursa; the magnificent Petra and Wadi Rum; the mystical Dead Sea; the spiritual Mount Nebo and the King highway; the refreshing Jerash; and the adorable Amman, we were very excited to fly back to Cairo - our second home. The knowledge and experience that we gained from all these places had surely made us a better person. I hope, all our five kids – ‘Afi, Muhammad Afiq, Muhammad Asri, Muhammad Aiman and Afiqah had learnt many valuable lessons from the trip and cherished all the memories that they went through.

‘Afi, Afiq, Asri, Aiman, and Nana waited patiently for their passports to be verified and stamped. Despite the crowds, the flow was very smooth. This was what you called the true efficiency.
I must say, their attitude, behavior and characters are one of the most important factors that had made the whole trip very interesting and successful. Alhamdullillah. I was very proud and pleased with them. I knew, it was not easy for being away from the comfort of your own place called home. But, never I heard they grumbled and complaint about anything called inconvenient.
