The chubby Aiman despite his boredom amid the crowd shared his natural awesome smile to the D7000 lens. He was very proud (at his age) that he managed to meet the CM of Sarawak in-person earlier of the day.
This year, 1Malaysia Chinese New Year Open House was held at the Miri City Fan complex on Sunday night – February 6, 2011. We were not able to join the crowd because I have to catch a flight to KL a day after that from Bintulu. Nevertheless, we (Aiman and I) had a chance to see the preparation and rehearsal two nights before. It was not a full-dress rehearsal though; neither the lighting nor the music was not readily programmed and synchronized with the cultural dance and songs. I took the opportunity to capture some of the scene whilst the crowd gradually filled the amphitheater amazed by the young (mainly) multiracial performers.
