Today, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan 1430 Hijjri. This year, many countries in the world, observe the first day of Ramadan on the 22 August. In Egypt, weeks before the Ramadan, people were busy gearing themselves in the welcoming of the most awaited month. Besides shopping for all the necessary items, they were busy decorating their streets and house with lights, feinouz and other decorative materials. To them, Ramadan is very special religiously and culturally.
For us, this is our third Ramadan in this beautiful land of Egypt. May Allah swt give us His blessing for us to perform this third tenet of Islam smoothly as shown by His Messenger the prophet Muhammad saw (peace be upon him).
To our families, relatives and friends wherever they are, please accept our apologies for our shortcomings and may this Ramadan shall be the best ever in our life. Kul ‘am wa antum bil Khair. Ramadan Kareem.
