Rejuvenating under the Palm Tree of Abu Qir

Spring 2007 we spent rejuvenating our physical and spiritually at Abu Qir Date orchard which is 30 minutes away Kafr Abdou. There was a small humble restaurant serving the local delicacies and the famous Egyptian tea. The owner was so kind and we were kind of fortunate and honored when he invited us to witness the pollination process of the Dates’ flowers.
The photo: Under the Date Palm tress you will find Guava Trees and underneath the Guava Trees you could find the Tomato species or sometime melons. No small inches of land are wasted.
