..in the name of cost optimisation

|

I travelled back to Bintulu on February 19 after two weeks away from my beloved family at my own cost. After spending 3.5 days and 3 nights with them I flew back to KL on February 22. AK 5141 took off around 10:05 hours and arrived the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) around 12:15 hours. I’ve spent about 10 minutes waited for my only luggage. The LCCT services and facilities are commendable despite its cheap design and building material. Another aspect that had made its utilization rate (if I may use the plant operation term) is the efficiency and credible ground staff. After collecting my luggage, I asked myself whether is it worth to go by bus or by taxi all the way to Prima Villa Kemensah (to take my car parked at Zailan’s residence)? Eventually, I’ve decided to give myself a try – by bus! Right on, dude..!! I went to the Aerobus counter and bought a one way ticket (what the heck that I must buy a return ticket?!%#) – RM 8 only. Actually, there is another good looking bus shuttle service between LCCT and KL Central. But the fare is RM1 higher than the Aerobus. That was first ever experience commute from airport by bus.
